The air quality this morning is very unhealthy in Sarajevo, as well as in other cities in the territory of central Bosnia.

According to measurements at 7:00 a.m., the air quality index in the Ilijaš area was 194 and the air is unhealthy for the population.

In the area of Zenica and Visoko, the air quality index was 170, in Sarajevo 166, Kakanj 160, Tešnj 157 and Živinice 155, and in all the mentioned cities the air is unhealthy.

Patients with lung and heart diseases, pregnant women, children and the elderly must avoid any activities while outside, reports the Eco Action organization.

It was pointed out that the probability of negative consequences for the respiratory organs of the entire population has increased. In people with respiratory diseases such as asthma, significant increases in symptoms and intensity of the disease are possible.

In most other places in Bosnia and Herzegovina, where measuring stations are installed, the air quality is unhealthy for sensitive population groups or is moderately polluted.
