The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Zeljka Cvijanovic yesterday visited Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, where the Summit of the Contact Group of the Non-Aligned Movement was organized.
Zeljka Cvijanovic said that she is pleased that as a representative of an observer country, she is attending the gathering of the countries of the Non-Aligned Movement for the first time, which has shown its ability to survive and maintain its importance despite all the global changes.
“I am convinced that our tradition of non-alignment, founded through the foreign policy heritage of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY), can be a strong bridge of cooperation and understanding in the future, both through strengthening bilateral relations with the member countries of the Non-Aligned Movement, and through participation in multilateral initiatives of general, global importance,” noted Cvijanovic.
She stressed that she believes that together we can come to certain conclusions that could contribute to overcoming many common challenges, whether it is post-covid recovery or the current security and geopolitical turbulence, Klix.ba reports.
