The State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) is acting on the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is collecting information on the review of the lawsuit for genocide in the lawsuit of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Serbia.
Information was requested about Bakir Izetbegović in connection with the aforementioned audit, but also with the judgment “Ljubić”.
The State Prosecutor’s Office has not yet commented on this case.
SIPA, according to the order of the State Prosecutor’s Office, requested from the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina the information they need in the case “Bakir Izetbegović and others” a few days ago. Among other things, information on Izetbegović, who was a member of the Presidency at the time, and his advisors were requested.
“We inform you that the police officers of the State Agency for Investigation and Protection, in accordance with the Order of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, are taking measures and actions, as part of which you need to provide us with information about the persons Bakir Izetbegović, Dževad Mahmutović, Elvir Čamdžić and Sakib Softić, in order to determine who the functions, positions and tasks the appointees performed in 2017. Also, if you are able, you need to provide us with information on who were the appointed members of the expert group for the revision of the verdict for genocide in the case of BiH against Serbia”, states the request of SIPA sent to the BiH Presidency.
Let us remind you that several years ago, the International Court of Justice in The Hague also rejected the request for revision of the verdict on the lawsuit of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Serbia for aggression and genocide.
