BOSNA-HERSEK DISISLERI BAKANI ZLATKO LAGUMCIYADeputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs Zlatko Lagumdžija stated that all investors in B&H are welcomed, noting that “in this way we need to send a common message wherever and whenever we have a chance.”

“Investors go where they have partners, favorable conditions and a stable environment”, said among other things Lagumdzija for the news agency Anatolia.

A few months ago, for the first time since Independence of B&H he led a business delegation to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar. They went there with concrete business plans and feasibility studies.

” For the first time in twenty years we come with precise and concrete projects. Isn’t it shameful? Very clearly said, ‘Thank you for all these years of support, that have helped us when was mostly needed, but now we did not come to ask for help, but for partnership that involves mutual benefit. “Even our friends were surprised who were used that B&H mainly asks for help”, said Lagumdžija.

“Mubadala Fund has expressed interest in investing in B&H and we have started to work on the Investment Protection Agreement, we concluded the Agreement on Cooperation between the two MVP Treaty, scientific and technical cooperation and with Qatar the Agreement on the employment of labor. Unfortunately, we had twenty years – not waiting, but the constant presentation of B&H as a “beggar” ”, specified Lagumdžija.

He said that for the first time since independence, B&H is presented as a country that is willing to step up with the challenges of a modern economy and global trends.

“The first time we were in the market in the position of partner. Believe me as much as it is difficult, because we have 20 years enduring a devastating reputation of our country, yet I am proud to see that our state and businessmen who live and create great attention and provoke interest of large international companies and investors”, said among other things, Lagumdžija.
