The public enterprise FBiH Motorways (Autoceste Federacije BiH) and BH Telecom operator yesterday signed a cooperation agreement on providing mobile network access in the tunnels on the constructed part of the A1 motorway on the route of the Vc corridor.

These are tunnels Ričice, Pečuj, March 1, Gaj, Vis, November 25, Grab and Ivan, with a total length of 22,409 meters, the FBiH Motorways announced.

“As two public enterprises at the service of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, we make every effort to provide them with the best quality of services. We will certainly continue to do so in numerous other projects in the future,” emphasized the director of the FBiH Motorways, Elmedin Voloder.

The contract on the use of road land and existing infrastructure of the FBiH Motorways for the provision of telecommunications services in the tunnels on the A1 motorway was signed for the period of next 20 years, which solves the issue of mobile network signal in the tunnels on the A1 motorway for a longer period of time.
