Allegations from the Complaint Against Minister Mijatovic Under Verification

Based on a criminal complaint filed with the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office against the Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Vojin Mijatović, police officers temporarily seized mobile phones from three individuals.

The phones were seized by order of the Special Department of the Supreme Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and at the proposal of the acting federal prosecutor.

“Based on the criminal complaint filed with the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of the FBIH by the legal entity Ilirya Tech Group d.o.o. Sarajevo, against the Federal Minister of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the FBiH in connection with the actions taken during the award of the Grant of Current Transfers under project number 5 “Development of Start-up Ecosystems”, according to the Public Competition of the Federal Ministry of Development, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the FBiH for the selection of beneficiaries of the grant of capital and current transfers for 2025, published in the “Official Gazette of the FBiH”, number 21/25 of 21.3.2025, by order of the Special Department of the Supreme Court of the FBIH, and at the proposal of the acting federal prosecutor, mobile phones of three persons have been temporarily seized,” the Prosecutor’s Office announced.

They stated that they cannot officially disclose the names of the persons from whom the mobile phones were seized, because they are currently verifying the allegations in the complaint, and added that the investigation has not yet been initiated.

The criminal offense of Associating for the Purpose of Committing Criminal Offenses is suspected, in connection with the criminal offense of Abuse of Position or Authority, the criminal offense of Giving a Reward or Other Form of Benefit for Trading in Influence and the criminal offense of Giving a Reward or Other Form of Benefit for Trading in Influence.

Although there is no official confirmation, the media reports that the phones were seized from Minister Vojin Mijatović and two owners of consortium companies that received budget funds in a public call announced by the Ministry headed by Mijatović.
