Almost Fifty Percent more Tourists’ Arrivals recorded in BiH

The total number of tourist arrivals in September in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 111,241, which is 49.6 percent more than in September last year, and 22.6 percent less than in August.

In the total number of overnight stays, the participation of domestic tourists in the total number of arrivals was 29 percent, and for foreign tourists 71 percent.

Tourists spent 225,934 overnight stays in September in FBiH, which is 35.7 percent more than in September 2021. The participation of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 27.9 percent and for foreign tourists 72.1 percent.

In terms of overnight stays of foreign tourists in FBiH, the highest number of overnight stays was realized by tourists from Croatia (8.3 percent), Germany (6.9 percent), Turkey (5.8 percent), Poland (5.7 percent) and France (5. 5 percent), which is a total of 32.2 percent. Tourists from other countries accounted for 67.8 percent of overnight stays, announced the FBiH Institute for Statistics.

In September 2022, 46,013 tourists stayed in the Republika Srpska and spent 101,206 overnight stays.
