Due to the expiration date, almost half a million doses of the vaccine against covid-19 failed in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), and currently, 438.913 doses from various manufacturers are available to citizens.

”According to the current situation, 451.453 doses of covid vaccine -19 expired,” FBiH Institute of Public Health stated.

Regarding the current interest of citizens in vaccination, the Institute points out that in March, an average of 2.200 doses of vaccines against covid-19 were administered in the FBiH per week.

On the other hand, there are enough vaccines, so the Institute notes that currently, 438.913 doses of vaccines are available to citizens in the Federation – Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, and Sinovac.

Namely, 712.660 doses of vaccine were procured directly, while more than double, 1.521.484 doses, were procured by various donations.
