Youth of Islamic Community in Tuzla cleaned Jewish Cemetary

On the occasion of the Mosque Day, the Youth Network of Medzlis of the Islamic Community of Tuzla organized an action to clean up the National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a Jewish cemetery in the Tuzla settlement Boric.

Participants of this action, young people from Tuzla Islamic Community wanted to make a positive gesture for their neighbors Jews.

It was also an opportunity for young people to become acquainted with the religious diversity of people living in the area of Tuzla, but also to learn more about the history of the Jewish community in this area.

After cleansing the Jewish cemetery, young people went to Kicelj where they also cleaned and decorated the plateau, which many residents of Tuzla use as an excursion site, Tuzlanski news portal reports.
