Ambassador of B&H In Pakistan Nedim Makarevic Received Delegation of Sarajevo University

delegacijaThe delegation from Sarajevo University, composed of Prof. dr. Muharem Avdispahic, who is rector of the University, Prof. dr. Narcis Behlilovic, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, and Prof. dr. Mustafa Hrasnica, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering were in Pakistan at the beginning of February, where they were received by the Ambassador of B&H to Pakistan Nedim Makarević.

The delegation organized a visit to NUST (National University of Sciences and Technology) as the best and largest University in Pakistan. Shortly after their landing at the airport in Islamabad, the digtinguished guests were received by the Dean of NUST Muharem Asghar. After the presentation by Muhamed Ashgar, and a presentation of the details of NUST, Mr. Avdispahić also presented the University of Sarajevo with references for opportunities for cooperation.

Both sides have shown great interest for mutual cooperation, especially in the field of joint research and exchange of professors and students. The delegation visited the entire campus of NUST, and became familiar with all the crucial details of the programs and cooperation that they have with other universities throughout the world.

Ambassador Nedim Makarevic thanked Pakistan for the friendly help, and stressed the need for more intensive binding of B&H universities with institutions such as NUST, where there are huge opportunities for students and professors.
