Ambassador and Mayor of Stari Grad to Plant Lime Tree in the Ambassadors’ Alley

aleja_ambasadora (2)The Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina / EU Special Representative, Ambassador Peter Sorensen, together with Mr. Ibrahim Hadzibajric, the Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality, will plant a lime tree in the Ambassadors’ Alley on Monday 31 March 2014.

The European Union recognises the valuable role of municipal authorities in the process of EU integration, as well as in the environmental protection agenda, which is fostered by the Ambassadors’ Alley project.

The planting of the lime tree is scheduled to take place at 12:00 at the Ambassadors’ Alley, located at the confluence of rivers Moscanica and Miljacka, Dariva. The event will be followed by statements to the press at 12:10.
