Regarding the media reports on the alleged use of canned food with a false declaration that contained pork, at a recent exercise by the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina (AFBiH) at Manjaca, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of BiH categorically deny the allegations as untrue.

“The disputed pate of” Zmajevac “producer from the Republic of Serbia was not distributed to the units and members of the AFBiH at the said exercise, for which it is found that the composition and the declaration were not valid. This quantity was replaced by the product “Beef pate”, manufactured by “Akova Impeks” Ltd. Sarajevo, BiH.

The BiH Ministry of Defense expresses its concern that lately, the media has been publishing non-documented information from the defense system that is destroying the dignity of the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of BiH.“

Accordingly, we will use every legal option and take all measures and actions to protect the professionalism and reputation of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to sanction every MoD and AFBiH employee if it is found that he provided false information to the media, ” the Ministry stated.
