The Sarajevo Municipal Court accepted the proposal of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office and ordered one-month custody for Benjamin Spahovic, who hit a 17-year-old boy in a Porsche vehicle in a car accident in Sarajevo on Friday (February 11th).

As Fena news agency unofficially finds out, the decision on detention will be made during the day. Detention was requested due to the danger of the suspect fleeing, influencing witnesses and fears that he might repeat the crime.

Spahovic should be transferred to the Sarajevo Penitentiary during the day.

The expert witness allegedly estimated that the suspect drove 70 kilometers per hour.

As previously reported by the Ministry of the Interior of the Sarajevo Canton, on February 11, at 8:55 pm, in Hamdije Kresevljakovica street, a traffic accident occurred and on that occasion a minor was hit by a Porsche passenger vehicle, owned by EH.
