Ambassador Moon talked with the Mayor of Goražde

” We have an example of a positive story in Goražde, because the Municipality has succeeded to attract investments, offer centers, and USAID also helped with the training of workers of this company. I have to point out that businessmen invested here, brought their workers and used the opportunity and opened new working places. I hope that Goražde will serve as an example to other cities in B&H.”- said Ambassador Moon during his visit to Goražde.

Ambassador Moon talked with the Mayor of Goražde  Muhamed Ramović about  new working places and investments in this city. During his visit, Ambassador Moon was especially delighted with the success of the company ”Bekto Precisa”, where he talked to its managers Enis Bekto and Amir Ćoralić. After that he visited the company ”Prevent” in Vitkovići. These two companies employ around 1.500 workers and present the foundation of the development of economy in these parts of the country.

The rapid economic development was the key topic of this meeting. The US Ambassador also spoke to the president of SO Višegrad Suljo Fejzić and after that he also met with the Mayor of the Municipality Novo Goražde Dalibor Nešković. During his visit, Ambassador Moon also met with the director of the company ” Prevent Goražde” Haris Rahman.
