Ambassador of Poland Visited Tuzla Canton

Tuzla_panorama_1The Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Sead Čaušević received the Ambassador of Poland to BiH Andrzej Krawczyk. They spoke about cooperation in the areas of mining, energy and education.

Prime Minister Čaušević spoke to his guest about the opportunities in the area of Tuzla Canton and emphasized that Poland is an example when it comes to the affirmation and development of small and medium businesses that form the basis for rapid development.

The Prime Minister presented to Kraqczyk some plans and activities that the government of Tuzla Canton has the intent to implement in the next period, and pointed out the business potential that was provided in the areas of infrastructure, investment in projects of cleaning the lake Modrac, and the construction of business zones around Tuzla airport.

The Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining Željko Knežiček asked Ambassador Krawczyk to be the promoter when it comes to the issue of engaging local BiH companies in the energy sector, where currently Polish partners dominate.

The Polish Ambassador offered cooperation in the area of using pre-accession EU funds, for which in 2014 BiH will have access to five new areas.

The visit was an opportunity to agree on further cooperation between higher education institutions in BiH and Poland.
