The Ambassador of Spain to BIH Maria Aurora Mejia Errasquin visited the USK for an official visit yesterday.

She visited the USK government, where the Minister for Construction, Urban Planning and Environmental Protection Sinha Kurbegović, the Minister of Internal Affairs Šefik Smlatić and the Minister of Economy Redžo Kurbegović received her. They spoke about the current situation in this part of BiH, especially about economic and social security.

‘’We provided the Ambassador with details of the work of the USK government and our activities’’, said Minister Kurbegović.

They presented to her projects supporting the development of small business and commercial activity that began last year and is currently being implemented. They spoke about traffic infrastructure, the current situation and the possibilities of better road connectivity with the rest of the country.

“The government of Spain has so far extended a hand of friendship to BiH”, said Ambassador Errasquin and added that in the next period she will help BiH and USK, not only in economic development but also toward the path to the European Union.

After that, she met with the mayor of Bihać Emdžad Galijašević, who expressed his gratitude for everything that the government of Spain has done until now, and called for further cooperation in the next period.
