After having a very successful performance in VIP club in Zagreb, Amira Medunjani, a great sevdah singer is having a busy schedule ahead, reports Dnevni Avaz.
On 28 April, she’ll sing in Novi Sad in Serb National Theatre, and the interest is already quite big. On that occasion Amira will perform with Bojan Zulfikarpašić (piano) Nenad Vasilić (doublebass), Bachar Kalif and they will present the project ‘Amulette’.
Day after, 29 April, they’ll perform in Belgrade and on 4 May in Rovinj at the Avantgarde Jazz Festival, as well as in Umag.
What is quite remarkable is the fact that Amira Medunjanin will go to India to perform. She’ll perform on 9 May in Kolkata as a part of the larger project with 20 singers from the entire world who’ll participate and in that way she’ll be one of few singers from BiH who ever performed in India.
