The BiH Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and the President of the Commission for NATO integration process Ana Trišić-Babić is on an official visit to the US from 24-25 April.
The Deputy Minister will hold a presentation during her visit to the Atlantic Council in Washington on the security and political situation South East Europe, the status of Euro Atlantic integration and regional cooperation.
The Atlantic Council from Washington is a renowned Institute that deals with issues of security, international politics and global relations.
The visit will continue with meetings at the Pentagon, with a focus on the participation of BiH in the ISAF operation in Afghanistan, and the plans for our country to continue participation in the mission of training and rebuilding society in Afghanistan after the withdrawal of coalition troops in 2014.
There is a planned visit to the National Guard in Maryland to celebrate the ten years of cooperation of BiH with the National Guard in the reform of the security sector.
They will also discuss the possibilities of expanding cooperation for civil and educational programs. The Deputy Minister will meet with officials of the State Department, and with representatives from the American Senate that follow the situation in South East Europe.
