Dženeta Šišić from Tuzla, a fourth grade student of the International High School in Tuzla, has shown that she is the best among the best in the competition of 10.000 students, when she won the first place and a gold medal at the 3rd International Competition in English – HIPPO 2015, which took place on May 9th and 10th in Lido di Jesolo – Italy.
After the preliminary testing in five categories that took place in March this year in accredited centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Slovenia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Albania and Afghanistan, 67 students from a total of 10.871 students made their way to the great finals in Italy, where Dženeta Šišić won the first place in the most demanding category.
This is a remarkable achievement for her, because she managed to win a gold for her school and her country in a competition with over 10.000 participants.
The sponsors of the competition are EDI PEARSON and SWAN Institute, and the organizers are Global Input and Global Hippo Association.
In addition to an internationally recognized certificate and a stay in Italy, Dženeta also won a fortnight trip to London.
