The General Assembly of the Confederation of the World Association of Authors CISAC brought a decision at its annual meeting in Washington on the admission of the BiH Association of Composers of Music AMUS into membership of this world organization.
“This is the highest achievement at the international level that AMUS achieved until now’’, they added.
CISAS has 231 members and protects the interests of more than three million creators and copyright holders worldwide.
The mission of CISAS is to improve the interests of creators and to improve the highest standards of business with the aim to protect the rights of authors.
“With the admission of AMUS in CISAS, members of AMUS became a part of the world family of musical artists, which, among other benefits, provides the ability for our authors and their works to enter the world database (IPI and WID) and the award of ISWC numbers (numbers that identify authorship in every individual work of our authors”, according to a statement.
