The Agency for the Sava River Water Area informed the public that based on the analysis of the currently recorded water levels on the hydrological monitoring system of the water area, an extraordinary hydrological state is recorded.
They point out that the extraordinary hydrological state was also forecast in the Notification on the forecast of the extraordinary hydrological state from December 9th.
”On Una and Sana rivers basins, an increase in the water level is recorded at all hydrological stations. The warning levels have been reached at all stations in the Una and Sana basins,” the Agency stated.
They also said that due to the cessation of precipitation, stagnation and a drop in the water level at all water measuring stations were expected during yesterday’s day.
”The extraordinary hydrological state is expected to end tomorrow. Stable water levels are recorded at other hydrological stations in the water area of the Sava River in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH),” the Agency pointed out yesterday.
It was suggested to the competent institutions to monitor the situation on the ground and act in accordance with the authorizations in order to implement measures and activities for the protection of citizens and material assets, Klix.ba reports.
