Members of the Sarajevo Mountain Rescue Service successfully evacuated an injured mountaineer who was near Lokvanjsko Lake on the Bjelasnica mountain.
Immediately after the report, they sent the on-duty team to the field.
“The exact location of the victim was determined and a team of 20 rescuers with all the necessary equipment headed towards the victim in order to perform the necessary transport to a safe location. At 6:32 pm, the action ended and the mountaineer was successfully evacuated,” the GSS stated in the press relase.
