The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute has issued an orange warning for several parts of our country due to the predicted heavy rainfall on Wednesday.

Heavier precipitation is expected in the west, north and east of Herzegovina and in the southwest and in the central part of Bosnia.

More precisely, the warning was issued for the period from one o’clock in the morning to 11 o’clock.

With heavier rain, between 30 and 60 liters of precipitation per square meter is forecast, and the warning is given due to the current situation in flooded areas. The occurrence of torrential streams and landslides is possible.

“Be prepared to protect yourself and your property. Flooding of property and traffic networks is possible. Disruption in the supply of electricity, water and communications is possible. Minor evacuation may be required. Difficult driving conditions due to reduced visibility and uncontrolled movement of vehicles due to water,” the World Meteorological Organization’s recommendations state.
