Analysis: Export from BiH in Period from January until October 2018

In the period January-October 2018 export amounted to 9 billion 912 million BAM, which is 8,9% higher than in the same period of 2017, and import amounted to 16 billion 131 million BAM, which is 7,3% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 61,4% and foreign trade in goods deficit amounted to 6 billion 219 million BAM.

According to BiH Agency for Statistics, the export to CEFTA countries amounted to 1 billion 605 million BAM, which is 9,8% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 1 billion 935 million BAM, which is 1,9% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 83%.

Export to EU countries amounted to 7 billion 300 million BAM, which is 11,7% higher than in the same period of 2017, while import amounted to 9 billion 703 million BAM, which is 6% higher than in the same period of last year. The coverage of import by export was 75,2%.
