Analysis of Average Monthly Net Salary in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the average monthly net salary paid per employee in February this year was 1,506 BAM.

Compared to January this year, a nominal decrease of 0.1 percent was recorded, while the real decrease was 0.8 percent. Compared to February 2024, the salary in February this year was nominally higher by 12.6 percent, while the real growth was 8.7 percent, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The highest average net salaries in February this year were paid in the information and communication sector in the amount of 2,069 BAM, followed by financial and insurance activities in the amount of 1,967 BAM, and in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning in the amount of 1,875 BAM.

The lowest average net earnings were for workers in the accommodation, food preparation and service industries, at 1,122 BAM, and for workers in construction, at 1,206 BAM.
