The newly appointed Deputy Commander of EUFOR in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana from the Italian Armed Forces, visited the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH, where he met with the Director of the Directorate, Enes Karić, and his Deputy, Đuro Knežević.
The meeting was also attended by Brigadier General of the Carabinieri Marco Pucciatti, who is visiting the units of the Carabinieri Corps serving in EUFOR, the Directorate for the Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH announced.
Director Karić introduced the guests to the responsibilities and organizational structure of the Directorate, as well as the role it plays in the security sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The activities that the Directorate has undertaken and is continuously implementing in order to build its capacities were presented, which are reflected in the procurement of material and technical resources and the organization of training for police officers.
Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana expressed his belief that the successful cooperation and communication with the Directorate will continue in the future. He emphasized the readiness of EUFOR in BiH to participate in preserving a secure environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with its mission.
The Directorate and EUFOR remain committed and dedicated to the common goal of maintaining a secure and stable environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkans region, which can only be achieved through dialogue, joint action and mutual respect, it was emphasized at the meeting.
