Analysis: Producer Price Index in BiH in September 2018

In September 2018 as compared to previous month, Producer prices of industrial products for total industry recorded increase price movements by 0,4% whilst compared to the same month of the previous year they increased by 4,3%.

Industrial producer prices on the domestic market

According to BiH Agency for Statistics, in September 2018 as compared to a previous month, the producer prices of industrial products recorded an increase by 0,5%, whilst as compared to the same month of the previous year they recorded an increase by 4,2%.

Industrial producer prices on the nondomestic market

In September of 2018 as compared to a previous month, the producer prices of industrial products on the nondomestic market, recorded a decrease by 0,4% whilst as compared to the same month of the previous year they recorded an increase by 4,5%.

Producer prices of industrial products (total)

In September 2018 as compared to previous month the producer prices of industrial products decreased in Non-durables by 0,2%, increased in Energy by 0,8%, Intermediate products by 0,6%, Capital goods by 0,3% and Durables by 0,1%.

In September 2018 as compared to the same month of previous year, the price increase was recorded in Energy by 6,6%, Intermediate products by 6,0%, Capital goods by 1,8%, Consumer Non-Durables by 0,6%.

In September 2018 as compared to the previous month the price decrease on domestic market was recorded in Non-durables by 0,2% and increase in Energy by 0,9%, Capital goods by 0,3%, Intermediate products by 0,8%.

In September 2018 as compared to the same month of the previous year, the producer prices increased in groups of Energy by 6,6%, Intermediate products by 4,9%, Capital goods by 1,9%, Durable goods by 0,8%, and Non-durable consumer goods by 0,8%.

Industrial producer prices on the nondomestic market

In September 2018 as compared to previous month the prices increased on nondomestic market were recorded in Intermediary goods by 0,5%, Capital goods by 0,3%, Durables by 0,1%, Energy by 0,3% and Non-durables by 0,3%.

In September 2018 as compared to the same month of the previous year, the prices increased in Energy by 4,9%, Intermediate goods by 6,8%, Capital goods by 1,8%, decreased in Consumer Non-Durables by 0,3%, in Consumer Durables by 1,0%.

In September 2018 as compared to previous month the producer prices increased in Manufacturing by 0,6%, whilst the decrease was recorded in Mining and quarrying by 0,6%.

In September 2018 as compared to the previous year, same month the prices increased in Mining and quarrying by 1,4%, Manufacturing by 5,7%, whilst the decrease was recorded in Electricity by 3,4%.

Producer prices of industrial products on domestic market

In September 2018 as compared to previous month the producer prices decreased in Mining and quarrying by 0,3% and Electricity supply by 0,1% and increased in Manufacturing industry by 0,8%.

In September 2018 as compared to the same month of the previous year, the prices increased in Mining and quarrying by 1,3%, Manufacturing by 6,4%, whilst the decrease was recorded in Electricity by 0,6%.

Producer prices of industrial products on non- domestic market

In September 2018 as compared to previous month the prices of industrial products decreased in Mining and quarrying by 1,7% and Electricity supply by 1,2% while they are higher in Manufacturing industry by 0,4% and Energy by 1,7%.

In September 2018 as compared to the same month of the previous year the producer prices increased in Manufacturing by 4,8% Electricity supply by 8,3% and Mining and quarrying by 0,8%.
