Muzicka akademija UNSAMusic Academy marked one of the most productive years in its history and achieved a dozen of artistic and scientific projects that the public and media intensively followed.

The beginning of 2014 was marked by another great success, the publication of Jasmina Talam book, Folk Music Instruments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, published by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.

This important book is the only one in the region that has gained the trust of this prestigious publisher, but is also the first book of this kind in B&H music bibliography. Sarajevo Music Academy will publish and promote this book in the Bosnian language during this year.

Folk Musical Instruments in B&H is a book that for the first time gives a complex and complete picture of traditional practices related to folk musical instruments in the territory of B&H. This book was created as a result of many years of archival and field research of existing literature and various audio and video materials.
