Arabs building a tourist city worth around 4.5 million BAM

150202041.6_mnIn the premises of the Municipality Centar Sarajevo, a protocol on the cooperation between the Municipality of Trnovo and Buroj Property Development from United Arab Emirates was signed. Namely, the contract formalized the building of the integrated tourist city “Buroj Ozone“ in the region of the Trnovo municipality.

The integrated tourist city “Buroj Ozone“ in the Trnovo municipality will contain thousands of residential units, hotels, shopping malls, as well as all other social infrastructure. As emphasized on today’s protocol signing, this will not only bring direct incomes for BH tourism, but also  thousands of new job opportunities. The total value of this project, as stated, is estimated to be 4.5 billion BAM (2.3 billion Euro).

Mayor of the Municipality of Trnovo, Ibro Berilo, said that this will be the first time a tourist complex of this value and size has been built and which will also represent the largest project of its kind in the region of South East Europe and beyond.

“I think that this is the biggest post-war investment in BiH. This is a historical day for the Municipality of Trnovo, and means a lot not just for the development of Trnovo, but also for Sarajevo Canton and the entire BiH. Through the realization of this project, Trnovo municipality will be able to compete with the development of the Centar municipality”, said Berilo, adding that they will need the help from the wider community for the realization of this project.
