After successful completion of business in 2014, Sarajevo International Airport recorded positive results at the sole beginning of 2015.
In January, the number of passengers was 43 700, which represents 21 percent increase than in the same period last year.
In January 2015, 104 850 kg of commercial and civil cargo was screened, which is a 4 percent increase when compared to the same month in 2014, Sarajevo International Airport announced.
Growth of traffic is expected in the future as well and the introduction of new lines of Swiss airlines with flights to Zurich and Geneva will contribute to the growth.
