arminReporter and journalist for News Agency Patria, Armin Durgut, had opportunity to witness modesty and kindness of Pope Francis, who was in official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Sarajevo yesterday morning.

Durgut, who arrived this morning in Sarajevo just for Pope Francis from Zenica, have never even dreamed that he would shake hands and greet the Pope. At the moment when Durgut was taking photos of Pope Francis in his Ford Focus, while he was leaving from the stadium Koševo, Pope has shaken hands with him through the open window.

‘’I was waiting at the exit, even though the majority of my colleagues already left on a different location. I believed that I would make the best photos and that actually happened. The car in which Pope Francis was sitting stopped right next to me, and they stayed there for a while,’’ says Durgut.

‘’After couple of photos at close range I saw the Pope smiling, and at the end I even shake hands with him,’’ said Armin.

selfi‘’I never dreamed that this might ever happen, because I learned during my career that important and VIP people are always running away from the camera, especially the politicians. So I got a bit confused, but proud at the same time,’’ Durgut told his story.

He even managed to make a selfie.
