Armored Vehicles for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton arrived in Ploce

Armored vehicles procured by the Tuzla Canton for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton (TC) police have arrived in Ploce, TC Prime Minister Irfan Halilagicconfirmed.

It will soon be transferred to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) as soon as Croatia issues a permit for transport to the border.

To recall, this canton announced earlier the purchase of four Senator armored personnel carriers from the Canadian company Roshel. These are Roshel Senator vehicles, which is backed by a Canadian company for the production of armored personnel carriers.

Roshel is a relatively young Canadian company founded in 2016, but it has already proven itself in the production of armored vehicles, and its products are used by NASA and police agencies in Canada and the United States (U.S.).

The vehicles were especially noticed after Canada delivered them to Ukraine as part of its donations. In May of last year, eight of these vehicles in the APC variant were delivered, and in mid-January, it was announced that as part of the new aid package for Ukraine, as many as 200 such vehicles will be delivered. The price of the package is estimated at over 90 million dollars.

It is interesting that the products that have already been delivered have found their purpose in the Kraken unit which is part of the Ukrainian Spetsnaz units and which is one of the most praised parts of the Ukrainian armed forces.

According to the specification, the Senator has ballistic protection up to caliber 7.62 mm. The vehicle was tested by the National Research Council of Canada, to confirm its static rollover threshold and rollover response characteristics. The vehicle showed best-in-class side roll performance, consistently hitting the 39-degree mark on both sides. It is possible to mount 7.62 mm or 12.7 mm machine guns on the vehicle.

The company boasts that the Senator APC is highly manoeuvrable, with a tight turning radius that makes it ideally suited for urban areas. The entire vehicle is air-conditioned, which allows the crew to work comfortably in all weather conditions, NAP reports.
