The two of them discussed potential cooperation between the two countries, especially in the sector of the economy, and concluded that BiH has significant unused potential, especially in the field of energy. They also discussed investment opportunities for Brazilian investors in the field of construction of railways and highways, as well as increasing Bosnian exports of industrial goods to Brazil.

Emphasizing the fact that BiH and Brazil are friendly states and that the two countries share common values characteristic of multi ethnic and multicultural countries, Arnaut welcome further high-level contacts and visits.

Senator Jose noted the fact that Brazil is the only country in South and Central America that has an embassy and a resident ambassador in BiH and expects that will have a positive effect on the further development of bilateral relations.

During the meeting, at which Manoel Gomes-Pereira, the Brazilian ambassador, was present, potential cooperation between the two countries’ parliaments, both of the leaderships and other committees and friendship groups, was discussed.
