The famous actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was detained and questioned by the police at the airport in Munich in connection with the “tax law” because of the unregistered luxury watch that he plans to sell at auction, according to the German media, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Schwarzenegger (76) was photographed with customs officers after he flew in from Los Angeles in the afternoon and stayed there for several hours, reports BILD. He has dual Austrian and American citizenship, and is on his way to attend the climate charity auction tomorrow in Kitzbühel, Austria.

The spokesman for the main customs office in Munich, Thomas Meister, told BILD: “We have initiated criminal proceedings under the tax code. The watch should have been registered because it was imported.”
