About 40 people have been killed and 100 injured after an explosion set off a fire in a cafe in the ski resort of Crans-Montana in Switzerland, Swiss officials said.
According to officials, most of the injured suffered serious injuries.
The fire broke out at around 1:30 a.m. and the cause of the explosion is not yet known.
Media reports had earlier reported that 10 people had died.
