mirsada-masalExhibition of art works “Traces in Time” by Mirsada Masal, member of the Association of Visual Artists of BiH, was opened last night in Sarajevo in the gallery “Roman Petrovic”.

The colors yellow and blue dominate at the exposed oil paintings, which create dynamic processes that shape the imaginary environments, making only occasionally glimpses of few recognizable motifs – series of locks, horse heads, olive branches or human shadows – outlines that will contribute to the communication of works and satisfy observers who expect an element of reality even in abstraction, at least in terms of associations.

The exhibition which will last for seven days was officially opened by the painter Ilonka Jasak with Masa Pervan, who invited the audience to come in the next seven days to the gallery “Roman Petrovic” and get to know this painting cycle of Mirsada Masal.

Professor Besim Spahic performed musical composition “La Boheme” on guitar at the opening.

Mirsad Masal is engaged in painting and sculpture from 1980.

She had four solo exhibitions and participated in a series of collective art exhibitions at home and abroad.
