12788201_1733927753510568_958335551_nAfter the draft of the Law on salaries and allowances of members of the management body and other organs institutions, cantonal public enterprises and public institutions, which implies a significant reduction in paid executives of public companies, was adopted in early February, members of the Assembly of Canton Sarajevo (CS) will be voting on this proposal today.

Draft law was at a public hearing in the previous period, but in the meantime, representatives of the Government of CS, which carried out a public hearing, could submit proposals, amendments and suggestions.

The most important provision of the adopted draft law is that monthly net salary of directors and deputy directors of public company may exceed maximum of three average net salary paid in the FBiH.

Also, the monthly fee for the presidents of the administrative and supervisory boards should not exceed 50 % of the average net salary paid in the FBiH in the previous 3 months. Members of management and supervisory board may receive compensation in the amount up to 40 % of the average net salary in the FBiH.

The penalties for those who break the law in the amounts that are determined to pay, are determined as 10,000 to 30,000 BAM for legal entities, and from 5000 to 10,000 BAM for responsible person.

So far, the Caucus of the Democratic Front in the Assembly of CS sent 2 amendments and independent representative Hamed Aljovic sent one amendment to the proposed draft of the law.
