The European Fund for Southeast Europe (EFSE), focused on helping local financial sectors in strengthening their ability to provide financing to micro and small businesses, as well as private households in the form of loans to improve housing conditions, started today in Sarajevo during the opening of the seventh annual EFSE assembly.
The Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Peter Sorenson, Member of BiH Presidency Bakir Izetbegović, Governor of the BiH Central Bank Kemal Kozarić and Deputy German Ambassador to BiH Christiana Markert opened the conference.
This year’s assembly is called “Strong Partners-Strong Impact”, which highlights the fact that healthy and efficient partnership financial institutions are key.
This assembly involves the participation of representatives of the financial sector, including the governors of central banks in the region, and guests from financial institutions of Southeast Europe.
