Association again demands the Dismissal of the President of the Federation of BiH

The Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide, with the support and consent of the Association of Citizens of Victims of the War “92-95 April 16” Ahmići, demands the dismissal of the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Lidija Bradar, stating that she has again misled the public, denied the judgments of the ICTY and domestic courts, falsely stating that “no one was ever held accountable” for the crime in the village of Trusina.

“What further worries us is her attempt to justify a crime with a crime and her statement on the occasion of the commemoration of the crime in Trusina is at the same time again denying and minimizing the crime in Ahmići. We expected that after the commemoration of the crime in Trusina, Bradara would correct her statement or apologize to the public for the untruth, however it is clear that Lidija Bradara’s intention is to continue denying the crime and glorifying the adjudicated war crimes – the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide announced.

The Association is asking the high representative Christian Schmidt to dismiss the FBiH president.

“We ask that you finally take measures and dismiss the president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and in that way protect the victims and finally move from words to actions,” it was stated in the request addressed to the high representative.
