Association of Employers of FBiH marked 15 years of Existence

association of employersWith the official ceremony held in Sarajevo, the Association of Employers of FBiH marked their 15 years of work on the 11th of April 2017. During this period, the Association has become a representative of the business community in the FBiH, and they have achieved significant results through their activities, advice, and expertise not only for its members but also for the wider economic community.

Today the Association counts more than 20,000 members organized in more than 20 groups on the basis of activities and regional affiliation, and it became a representative and an indispensable representative of the business community in BiH.

“The Association continues to implement program goals of the Association in terms of the continuation of tripartite and bipartite dialogue with the Government of FBiH and the trade unions and active participation in the reform of legislation,” said the director of the Association of Employers of FBiH, Adnan Smailbegovic.

The Association of Employers today represents the greatest corrective to what the Government of FBiH is doing”, said the Prime Minister of the FBiH, Fadil Novalic.

Adnan Smailbegovic noted that the Association of Employers of FBiH is giving full support to the Reform Agenda and that they are ready to bear part of the burden of reforms.

Members of the Association are socially responsible and socially sensitive employers. Therefore, the Association is continuously supporting the work of humanitarian organizations. The Association donated 2,000 BAM during the ceremony of the 15th Jubilee to charitable agencies: Kruh of St. Anto, the Muslim Charity Organization ‘Merhamet’, Serbian Humanitarian Association ‘Dobrotvor and the Red Cross of FBiH.
