Acting on the request of INTERPOL and the cooperation of the police of FR Germany, police officers of the Federal Police Administration, with the support of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Una-Sana Canton, found and seized two expensive motor vehicles suspected of being stolen in Germany.

On September 14, a BMW X5 passenger motor vehicle was found and confiscated in the Banja Luka area, and a day later a MERCEDES BENZ S 350 D passenger motor vehicle was found in the Sanski Most area. The total value of the vehicle is over 400,000 BAM, for which INTERPOL SR Germany launched an international search.

In cooperation with the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Una-Sana Canton, a criminal investigation was carried out against one person for whom there is reason to suspect that he committed the criminal offense of ‘aggravated theft’ from Article 287, paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.

Further activities of the Federal Police Administration are underway, which in cooperation with the police of the Federal Republic of Germany will continue the work on documenting the aforementioned criminal act, the FUP announced.
