mladic2Russian doctors have not submitted a report on health condition of Ratko Mladić yet and his attorney, Branko Lukić, claims that his brain is severely damaged, which resulted from three strokes that he had while he was a fugitive.

“Doctors at the Bronovo Hospital determined that more than 50 % of his brain is not functioning, due to the calcification. They did not say precisely how severe the damage is,” said Lukić, who is the Head of Mladić’s defense team.

Mladić’s entire right side of the body is dysfunctional, he has a problem with blood pressure, communication with him is aggravated, and his lawyers have a problem when trying to talk with him about the proceedings before the Tribunal.

Mladić is talking about certain topics of conversation, and most often the events of 30 or 40 years ago or the recent events. However, he does not remember events from before 10 or 20 years ago, and a particular problem is the topic of the war in the 90s of the last century.
