Austria will allocate one million euros to resolve the migrant crisis in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This information was confirmed by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs on its Instagram profile.
”The Austrian government has provided one million euros for the care of refugees and migrants in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” they wrote.
The funds will be used by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the Austrian Development Agency (ADA).
The main focus of support is on unaccompanied women, children and minors.
”The situation has extremely deteriorated over the past few weeks. Due to the winter conditions, we want to quickly contribute to the improvement of living conditions in the location where migrants live,” it is stated in the announcement.
