The Government of Canton Sarajevo adopted the Decision on the amount of residence tax in the Canton Sarajevo, which besides the amount also determines rate-payers and the manner of payment of fees.

Residence tax for 2017 amounts to 2.00 BAM and it is daily paid by customers who provide accommodation to guests.

The daily residence tax is paid by the organizers of group travel, i.e. the agency for each group of arriving tourists without overnight stays and it amounts to 1,00 BAM.

For private individuals who provide accommodation in their households and farm households, the residence tax will annually amount to 50, 00 BAM for each bed and unit that is used for the provision of accommodation.

“Taxpayers will pay residence taxes on account of the Tourist Board in accordance with the Law on Tourism and the decision, which shall enter into force after publication in the Official Gazette of  Sarajevo Canton,” as said in the statement.
