Austrian Investors interested in B&H?

meetingChairman of the Council of Ministers of B&H, Denis Zvizdić, received the Federal Minister for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, yesterday in Sarajevo.

They discussed the improvement on cooperation in the field of economic, cultural and education partnerships. They also discussed the European perspective of B&H and the Western Balkans countries and on this occasion, Chairman Zvizdić said that B&H is truly committed to the path towards European and NATO integration.

They agreed that bilateral relations between B&H and Austria are very good and should be further improved.

Minister Kurz mentioned a large number of Austrian businessmen in B&H and his expectation of increased number of companies that want to come in the future, indicating the interest of Austrian investors for investments in B&H.

Chairman Zvizdić said that favorable loans are essential for B&H citizens, to employ young and educated people in small and medium enterprises. He emphasized that the Council of Ministers is actively working on improvement of the business climate and that reforms, among the other things, are aiming to improve the relationship with foreign investors.

They discussed the forthcoming meeting of Prime Ministers of the Western Balkans countries which will take place in Vienna, on 27th of August, 2015.godine and which will be related to regional cooperation and infrastructure projects. This meeting is a continuation of last year’s meeting in Berlin.
