Sarajevo: Reconstruction of Skenderija Plateau started

pleatauThe reconstruction and rehabilitation of Skenderija plateau has started, and workers started by removing the surface layer of pavement on the plateau, which represents the first stage of the works.

According to the Director of the PUC Centar Skenderija, Amer Kapo, they started with fencing of the area on Wednesday, and now on the field are also the first machines that started with the first phase of the reconstruction.

According to him, the capital of BiH will have one better square and plateau in the center of Sarajevo very soon, and the contractor is Unigradnja Ltd Sarajevo.

As Kapo previously stated, the value of the works is around 900,000 BAM, which will be provided by a loan from Razvojna Banka, and solemn agreement which marked the beginning of the works was signed on the 8th of July.

Pleteau will have the highest quality plates and green parts, and the reconstruction involves changing the waterproofing and removal of dilapidated red plates, which will be replaced by gray ones.
