The sun, laughter and good mood of both domestic and foreign tourists could be seen yesterday on the streets of Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Even though the summer season has passed, there is a large number of tourists from different parts of the world who still visit Sarajevo.

The majority of tourists are in the old town center of Sarajevo, which is particularly attractive to guests coming to the BiHcapital.

Many of them, mostly the younger ones, took the opportunity to visit the shops in the old part of the city and numerous sights. Some enjoyed sitting in the cafe’s gardens, where they could refresh and rest.

The summer tourist season in Canton Sarajevo (CS) has passed with a large number of tourists from all parts of the world. In the first eight months, half a million arrivals and one million overnight stays were recorded. The most numerous tourists are from Serbia and Croatia, but in general Europeans dominate, followed by those from the United States (U.S.), Gulf countries and Turkey, as was announced earlier from the Tourist Board of CS, N1 reports.
