Average Monthly paid off Net Earnings per Person in Employment is 940 BAM

In May 2020, the average monthly paid off net earnings per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 940 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 1,20% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to May 2019, the average monthly paid off net earnings for May 2020 was nominally by 1,4% higher.

In May 2020, the average monthly gross earnings per person in employment in legal entities in BiH amounted to 1.450 BAM, which represented the nominal decrease of 1,4% as compared to December 2019.

In comparison to May 2019, the average monthly gross earnings for May 2020 was nominally by 1,4% higher.

The lowest average net salary in May was in the provision of accommodation, food preparation and serving and amounted to 543 BAM, in construction 634 BAM, while the average net salary in administrative and support service activities amounted to 654 BAM, according to Bosnian Agency for Statistics.

In financial and insurance activities, the average net salary in May amounted to 1,543 BAM, in the production and supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning 1,432 BAM, while the average net salary in information and communications was 1,327 BAM.

The average monthly gross salary in BiH in May amounted to 1,450 BAM and was nominally lower by 1.4 percent compared to December last year, and higher by 1.4 percent compared to May last year.
