Average Salary in Croatia Exceeds €1,350

The average monthly net salary per employee in legal entities for December 2024 was 1,361 euros, and the median was 1,156 euros, the State Bureau of Statistics announced on Thursday, whose data also show that about two-thirds of salaries are below average.

The average salary for December is nominally lower by 0.4 percent and in real terms by 0.5 percent compared to November, and nominally higher by 14.3 percent and in real terms by 10.5 percent compared to the salary for December 2023.

The average net salary for December is 0.5 percent lower compared to November, and 15 percent higher compared to the same month of the previous year.

The highest average paid net salary per employee in legal entities for December 2024 was paid in the production of refined petroleum products, 2,562 euros, and the lowest in the production of clothing, 846 euros.
