Four AXE- astronauts from Bosnia and Herzegovina on 7th August passed the first test, at the military hospital Kecskemet, Medical Center in Hungary.
Specifically, Adi Pejdah from Sarajevo, Adnan Kujrić from Maglaj, Dragan Tubak from Banja Luka and Albin Brkić from Zenica from the beginning of this week are at Sziget island in Hungary and are competing for a place in the aircraft company for space tourism SXC which will fly in – space!
Everything is within the AXE Apollo Space Academy, and our guys are competing along with representatives of Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia and Slovenia. From each country will be selected one winner who will continue competition in Orlando in December this year.
In the first test, B&H AXE-astronauts did have a complete medical examination – from the examination of the teeth, seeing, hearing, measurement condition (bike), coordination (spin-chair), ECG, reflexes, psychological tests! Complete test lasted for 5 hours.
Boys before departure to Budapest had to do blood test, lung check up and some tests to even be able to access these tests. All participants received their test results in a sealed envelope and the winner will be declared the participant who achieves the best overall result (after they do the other tests as well).
Despite the numerous tests that are in front of them, AXE -astronauts will have plenty of time for fun, socializing and visiting concerts at Sziget, a festival that is also being held on the island, on the Danube in Budapest.
